Refund & Cancellation Policy

Understanding our refund and cancellation terms for our educational services

1. Policy Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all courses and services offered by Samutkarsh Trust (R), including:

  • Shraddha-Medha (School Level Foundation Program)
  • Utkarsh (College Level Excellence Program)
  • Mock tests and assessment services
  • Study materials and resources
  • Career guidance and mentorship programs

We understand that circumstances may change, and this policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be processed.

2. Cancellation Timeline

Within 7 Days of Enrollment

Full refund available (minus processing fees)

8-15 Days of Enrollment

75% refund available

16-30 Days of Enrollment

50% refund available

After 30 Days

No refund available

3. Refund Eligibility Criteria

Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation request submitted within the eligible timeframe
  • Original payment receipt or enrollment confirmation provided
  • Student has not accessed more than 25% of the course content
  • No completion certificates have been issued
  • Study materials are returned in original condition (if applicable)

Special Circumstances

Refunds may be considered beyond the standard timeline for:

  • Medical emergencies (with proper documentation)
  • Relocation due to job transfer or family circumstances
  • Technical issues preventing access to services
  • Course cancellation by Samutkarsh Trust
4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

  • Registration and administrative fees
  • Payment processing charges
  • Individual assessment or mock test fees (once attempted)
  • Digital materials that have been downloaded
  • One-time consultation or guidance sessions (once completed)
  • Examination fees paid to external bodies
5. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a written refund request to our administration office
  2. Provide your enrollment details and payment receipt
  3. State the reason for cancellation
  4. Return any physical study materials (if applicable)
  5. If refund is accepted, then refund amount will be credited to original mode of payment within 7-10 business days

Refund Methods

  • Original payment method (preferred)
  • Bank transfer (for cash payments)
  • Cheque (for specific cases)
6. Course Transfer Policy

As an alternative to cancellation, students may request course transfer:

  • Transfer to next batch of the same course (no additional fee)
  • Transfer to different course (subject to fee adjustment)
  • Transfer to different center location (if available)
  • Deferment for up to 6 months (one-time only)

Transfer requests must be made at least 7 days before the course start date.

7. Force Majeure

In case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, etc.):

  • Course delivery may be modified to online format
  • Course dates may be rescheduled
  • Full refunds may be offered if services cannot be provided
  • Students will be notified of any changes promptly
8. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision:

  • Contact our administration office for reconsideration
  • Provide additional documentation if required
  • Request a meeting with the center head
  • All disputes will be resolved within 15 business days

Final decisions on refunds rest with the management of Samutkarsh Trust.
